Biography


Wade Douglas is the original Rasta Blacspade, born the prime day of December 5, 1968. He seated in the Brown’s Hall section of St. Catherine. The young prince at age six, found a love, Reggae Music. Young Douglas tailored himself to his newfound love, evenings after school and on weekends. His deep love for reggae music now realized, was a calling that turned out to be his passion in life.
Juggling his love of reggae music and school, young Douglas, stayed focus on his schoolwork. He attended Bown’s Hall Primary School. Thereafter, he entered Tacius Golding High School in St. Catherine, where he took the Caribbean Examination Council Exam (CXC-O levels) and earned a Business Diploma, while making music which soared. Henceforth, he went into business for himself, becoming an auto Mechanic fixing cars. Doing this, he also promoted dancehall music and parties via going into the studios and freestyling.
